It’s blowing my mind that this is my 18th day in DC.
Here’s a list of things that I’ve experienced so far, in no particular order:
- gone dancing
- had a ridiculously fancy lunch
- been at the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial on MLK day
- drunk fancy floats
- had Thai food
- had a breakdown
- found a dead mouse under my bed
- suited up for work everyday
- saw Occupy protesters in Freedom Plaza
- workplace lockdown because of Occupy protesters
- gone out after work with fellow interns
- gave my first lecture to a crowd of 20 people
- gone to class
- established a schedule
- visited the National Archives, Museum of Natural History, and Arlington National Cemetery, among other amazing places
- become a pro at using the metro system
- played in the snow
- watched the Republican debates
- said silly things
- lived with awesome people
